Hidden truths of Instagrammable foods.

 Hidden truths of Instagrammable foods.

Everyone wants to be at the top in social media. Everyone wants to be trending on social media. Everyone wants to be a social media celebrity. If you are wondering how to be one, here you go.

#intagrammablefood is one of the famous hashtags used in Instagram especially by many new bies on Instagram. Many different types of food are posted using this hashtag.

Instagram definitely had a huge impact on food culture before and after Covid-19 pandemic. During pre Covid-19, it was already a habit for most Instagrammers to place the phone high above their dining table before gobbling up the scrumptious food. During the pandemic till now, we can observe a drastic change in food culture. Mostly, prefer to record the journey of making certain food.

It is so strange that sometimes, the pictures make me wonder how one could resist the temptation from eating instead of capturing the picture? The pictures are usually colourful, bright, and aesthetic.

Now that everyone is at home and everyone is turning to be a good cook, Instagram has become a food network channel. Sometimes, it is an emergency lifeguard saver because I can quickly search for a recipe at the eleventh hour when I have unexpected visitors at home.

Hidden truths of Instagrammable foods.

Most of the foods are rich with nutrients and vitamins. The pictures usually have many interesting and attractive captions about healthy dieting. Being a vegetarian was not as popular as now with the Instagram help in mushrooming the term “vegan life”. Now, many people are concerned about their health and adapting to vegan life.

If #instagrammablefood continues to be popular, eventually by 2050 (by estimation) the world might go meat-free. This will save from killing livestocks and reduce human deaths too. No meat would lower the chances of chronic heart disease, diabetes, stroke and some cancers. Thus, this saves the world 2-3% global gross domestic product in medical bills.

Some would deny saying that the ecosystem will lose the balance and farmers will suffer. However, at least most Instagrammers will opt to be flexitarian. It is also a way to promote environmentalism.

Therefore, eventually we will be numb to the attractive pictures under the stated hashtag, and we will slowly consider the idea of vegetarianism, veganism and flexitarianism.

On top of all this, the picture posted with the food showcases the culture of an ethnic or a region. Something that promotes culture, always bring positivity to our life. So, why not giving the picture a like. Surely, it is worthwhile.

Conclusion

In short, hopefully those truths of Instagrammable foods make some sense to the readers. Don't forget to snap before you eat! #instagrammablefood
